In the early 1920’s, Bernard was encouraged by his sons to make shirts under the company’s name instead of making clothes for other labels in his previous job with Par-Ex. Ahead of its competition, Gant has its signature look with the perfect roll, the locker loop, the box pleat, the back collar button and the button tab to make sure that every gentleman at the time would be drawn to keep looking stylish.
